Novena to St. Therese of the Child Jesus

Hello! I just finished uploading a video about St. Therese of the Child Jesus. Please check it out. Anyway, this has been long overdue. Still, I want to share with you a favorite novena of mine, the 24 Glory Be to the Father Novena to St. Therese of the Child Jesus (aka St. Therese of Lisieux). I want to thank my friends Ghen Generillo and Roschelle Gomez for sharing their devotion to St. Therese with me. The 24 "Glory be to the Father" novena can be said any day, anytime. However, the ninth to the seventeenth of the month is particularly recommended for those days the petitioner joins with all those making the novena.





Novena Prayer to St. Therese of the Child Jesus

O Little Thérèse of the Child Jesus,
please pick for me a rose from the heavenly garden
and send it to me as a message of love.

O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God, today, to grant
the favors I now place with confidence in your hands.
Tell Him I will love Him each day more and more.

St. Thérèse, help me to always believe, as you did,
in God's great love for me, so that I might imitate
your "Little Way" each day. Amen.


(Say 24 "Glory be" prayer below... between the "Glory be", say,
"St. Therese of the Child Jesus, pray for us.")


Glory be to the Father, to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,

Pray for us Saint Therese, That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Let us Pray -

God our Father, You have promised your Kingdom to those who are willing to become like little children. Help us to follow the way of Saint Therese with confidence, so that by her prayers, we may come to know your eternal glory. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy spirit, one God for ever and ever. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Therese
St. Thérèse, please draw me into your great life of love. Teach me that no act is too small to fill with love. Give me great respect for others. Remind me that everyone is a child of God and is specially loved by God. Draw me closer to God and allow me to feel God's love for me. Draw me into the heart of God and widen the horizons of my mind and heart. Then I may be able to think nothing, feel nothing, wish nothing, do nothing except those things that will build up others and inspire them to love. Help me to do this over and over again - to practice with you, being Love in the heart God. Amen.


Miraculous Invocation to Saint Therese of Lisieux
O Glorious St. Thérèse, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and inspire the human family, I implore your miraculous intercession. You are so powerful in obtaining every need of body and spirit from the Heart of God. Holy Mother Church proclaims you "Prodigy of Miracles... the Greatest Saint of Modern Times." Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon earth... of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Little Flower, give me your childlike faith, to see the Face of God in the people and experiences of my life, and to love God with full confidence. St. Thérèse, my Carmelite Sister, I will fulfill your plea "to be made known everywhere" and I will continue to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen.


Another Prayer to St. Therese
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us. Amen.
